Elly: Let's do up our seat belts... don't forget the parking brake... pull our slowly. Now... look over your left shoulder... turn the wheel, don't go into the middle of the road... OK, OK, OK!! And... get into the right lane.. checking for traffic both ways. Are you checking? Stop sign ahead! Start breaking it might be icy. Brake now... brake, brake, brake... STOP! All clear? Turn right. Turn, turn, turn... now, go a little faster... keep up with the flow, keep with the flow... speed limit's 80 kilometers, keep with the flow... use your indicator, don't tailgate, keep a few carlengths behind the driver in front. Courtesy is KEY, April! Always remember that on the road - courtesy is key! It's terribly hard to concentrate if you're being annoyed by another driver.

April is still learning, so she shouldn’t find her mom’s reminders “annoying”.
