Anne: So John hired a beautiful new girl, what's new, El? Anne: As long as it's "all work and no play" there's no problem! Besides, you've go to trust your partner. Marriage is all about trust. If I didn't trust my husband, I think I'd go crazy. Elly: I guess you're right, Anne. Trust is the key. Anne: It's the key, all right... and if I found out he was "fooling around"... I'd change all the locks.

All the wives will “beware” to make sure the husbands not to fooling around; otherwise, the wives will do something to make the husbands regretting for instance, on “Andy Capp” strip, Flo holds the key and waits till Andy comes home in late midnight. Flo makes so fiercely look.

When do we get to see this Beauty + Brain chick?
:-)
She probably does not look as good as our young Elly!

Yeah, and she had better look like Shania Twain and not Cheryl Ladd! Ha! Poor Anne; ignorance is bliss. Susan 001…does that really happen? I can’t remember.

If I was going to hire a hygenist I’d be going for the Ugly Betty look.

You’re right Wildmustang, Flo can really give Andy a hard time, she knows how to handle him.

Boy Annie will be singing a different tune when she finds out Steve is cheating. She’s going to blame herself when that happens.
Susan001 - I have never seen that story line, and I have all the books. Are you sure that thats going to happen?
Personally I can’t wait till Micheal meets Deena. He met her for the first time when he was in kindergarten.

I read Andy Capp too but it drives me nuts. Flo’s an enabler but why? Why does she need that no good bum around? She works and supports him and does everything else besides while he goes off to the pub. What does she need him for?

Macushlalondra: Maybe she has too much faith in the sanctity of marriage.
From http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1633197,00.html: In 2006 Barbara [Bush, the current president's mother,] noted that Ruth [Graham, the late wife of the late Reverend Billy,] had once been asked whether, as a Christian, she had ever contemplated divorce. Barbara explained, "Her answer, was, 'Divorce? No. Murder? Yes.'" Added Barbara, "I could understand that."
Of course, they were joking. Me, I think that Flo just hasn't come up with the nerve yet. But I'm waiting.
