Nothing wrong with going out for a drink or two with friends - it’s waiting till your wife/hubby’s week away that looks cruddy. And as the British say, an evening bar-crawling with a wit like Ted sounds about as much fun as chasing a mouse around a pisspot.
1) Of course nothing serious will come of a night on the town, where John’s concerned. And of course if he goes out he’ll get a babysitter for the kids.
2) Daviddeer, the reason nobody’s commenting on what Ellie might be doing is because she’s visiting her parents.
I have to comment on doctortoon’s humungus cat in his pic. Holy mouse breath! Can it even walk? I wouldn’t think that it’s legs would be long enough to reach the floor, let alone hold it up! Great pic.
