BUZZDOG My cats eat mice to the head, then leave that as a trophy. They only kill moles and leave the whole darned thing on the step because I guess moles don’t taste good.
Buzzdog, my cat Stan once devoured a mouse right in front of me and it was something I was glad I only had to watch once (with the crunching and the smacking and the stain on the floor gahoyven).
The experience was further enhanced when the mouse made its reappearance a few minutes later.

My cat was a terrific mouser and I was always happy when he bagged one of the little varmints! My cat would eat everything except the bile. He always left the bile. (Which is VERY smart!). He also frequently bagged game which was bigger than he was. He would not only bag the game, but he would climb the tallest tree which he could get to and leave the carcass up in the branches. Unfortunately, the birds would ALSO discover his catch - and nibble away at it all day. By the time he returned to dine on his catch, there was usually not a lot left up in the tree!
Joe, I have to know - how did you get to CPT Brown, Vietnam and Maury from the comic and/or the comments? It’s so seemingly random, I just want to know where it came from. Did you just type the thought as it occurred to you, or did something someone said remind you of that fact? Honest question.
Joe, I follow your train of thought, from “Meowrice” to “Maurice” to “Maury.” By the way, I used to go to a place called Maury’s Deli on Wednesdays because that was the one day they had “Maury Burgers.” Those consisted of a very tasty meat-loaf, on egg-bread with mustard.
It’s nice Pearl Harbor day is remembered and the lives lost are not forgotten.
Joe I also read your comments and well as Dino’s.

Mouse flavored cat food? I’ve seen cats hunt mice and kill them, but never have seen them actually eat mice.
Has anyone else had a different experience?

I just remembered the name of my kindergarten teacher.
Her name was “Miss Benton”, but the class just called her “Miss Benton”.
