Holy Rockers! Boody is scary in that outfit!

I’d actually watch American Idol if Gene Simmons were a host. Better yet, Alice Cooper. I can’t stand to watch Idol and I hate what reality TV has done to television and society. We’re such a pompous, pretentious, arrogant bunch of voyuers now. No one cares about plot, character development and actually content. Good shows, with real stories worth watching, are few and far between.

Not fewer, just farther between. With five million channels to choose from, things get a little spread out. I don’t even check the schedules for two-thirds of the channels I get.

Besides, I think the lady has a better chance than Dudley or Boody.

This rather reminds me of a story about a British journalist who asked a MP if he’d succeeded in his goals during his campaign.

“I won the election,” the MP told her, “if that’s what you mean by success.”

That’s what I’d be thinking about American Idol even if I won it, methinks.

Boody and Dudley should win.

Hmm. Boody and Dudley are the only ones who are conscious of the fact that they are actually there…
