Transcript:
"Are you ready to hit the road, partner?" Charlie Brown asks Snoopy.<BR><BR> "Giddyap, please...Ol' pal, ol' buddy, ol' faithful and true!" Charlie Brown sits in a covered wagon dressed in cowboy gear. Snoopy is harnessed with reins of rope. He tugs the cart along.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown sings, "Way down upon the Swanson River-r-r-.... On the old chisel home trail..." Snoopy pulls him along.<BR><BR> "WHUP! What's that?" Charlie Brown cries as he spies an arrow land right on the sidewalk in front of them with a PLOP. He cries, "INDIANS! And I don't think they want to sign a peace treaty!"<BR><BR> Patty and Shermy, dressed as braves with feather headdresses, run down the block, crying "Woo! Whoo! Woo!" Patty has a bow and arrow while Shermy sports a toy tomahawk.<BR><BR> Patty chases the wagon, "Woo! Whoo! Whoop!" Charlie Brown turns around and points his finger at her: "Bang!!! BANG!" Snoopy trots along, adding, "ARF! ARF! ARF!"<BR><BR> He stops in front of Patty and declares, "I shot you Patty! You're out of the game!" Snoopy pants: "Whew." Patty is stunned: "WHAT?!"<BR><BR> She glares at Charlie Brown and Shermy and announces, "My Mother paid fifteen dollars for this costume...I can't be out of the game already!" Snoopy pants and gasps.<BR><BR>

$15 in 1952 is, correcting for inflation, the equivalent of $138.65 in 2017. That is an expensive costume!
