The Dog is happy to hang out with you and do whatever it is you’re doing with you, whether it’s a walk on the beach or having a couple of beers while watching the hickory smoke pour out of the barbie. The Dog is a bosom buddy. The Cat doesn’t give a Flying Dutchman about what you’re doing or with whom and will tear your friend a new one if he shows his stupid face around here again. The Cat is your introverted roommate who poops in a box and makes you clean it out three or four times a month.
For the record, I love dogs and cats. And goats.
