His blanket has been through unbelievable abuse. Either his parents have duplucates (which seems unlikely, with the information we’ve been given in the strips) or it has cartoon regenerative properties. This is the most likely explanation.

probably duplicates, just like Schroeder’s piano. Considering that blankets are not too expansive, I would say he have a lot of spare ones.
