Lucy watches her go.<BR><BR> She smiles and says, "Suddenly I feel a great sense of relief!"<BR><BR>

Yes, Lucy really was beyond “reformation,”just as Patty tells her, in the first three panels, until she leaves. And as it was, Lucy certainly had NO PROBLEM, resigning herself to her crabby nature, for the whole remainder of Peanuts’ production!
