"But he's your brother, isn't he?" Charlie Brown asks Lucy. It is dark outside. "That blockhead!"<BR><BR> "He's sitting out in there in that pumpkin patch right now!" Charlie Brown points. "That blockhead!" She faces away from him.<BR><BR> "He'll end up sitting all night waiting for the 'Great Pumpkin'! Aren't you concerned?" Charlie Brown lifts up his arms. "That blockhead!" Lucy repeats.<BR><BR> "He's going to sit there all night, and nobody cares..." Charlie Brown turns away. Lucy says, "That blockhead!"<BR><BR>

Lucy may sound like a broken record here, but it’s VERY PLAIN, as to why she could not care less. After all, she was the one who had to go out to the pumpkin patch and get him, at FOUR AM, at that, after another annual wasted vigil, two years ago. So it’s probably her way of saying,“Linus can sit out in the pumpkin patch, and FREEZE until he’s COLD BEYOND HOPE, for all I care!”
