Why is it that when someone is busy trying to keep themselves informed, someone else always sees that as being not busy and tries to get them to “do something?”

I stopped asking (aka nagging) and put up a honey do list on the fridge. Does it work? Sometimes.

Opal, you certainly are a very capable wife. The windows do need washing. You’ll probably want to fix up the house with new window dressing treatments. If Earl won’t wash the windows, hire a cleaning crew…what am I saying? Earl is too frugal for that!

Earl will not able to do washing the windows because he is too old. Opal, you better make a call to hire the window cleaners to do the job.

Hmmm, now let’s see, one nag per day for 997 days…that should make it about 2.73 years from now. Golly, by then you won’t be able to tell where the windows are anyway, so that fixes everything!
