my guess is that 80% of the folks here have never heard of ‘the Bob Cummings show or Shultzy……had not thought of her for years…..I wonder if she would be as funny now as then……..but she might be ; I STILL laugh out loud at old reruns of the Jack Benny show and Phil Silvers’ “You’ll never get rich”

I guess the rapture has already happened several times, and I keep getting left behind. So this is what Hell is like…

RE: Tattoos. Pretty soon we’re going to have a lot more women in the GC Retirement Home who look like that.

Is that what he is running away from?

Not many Zoroastrians left these days… when I was young and foolish and living far away I had a girlfriend whose father was a Parsi but, being a bad influence, I was never invited to meet him. I understand they have a temple down in the south bay but I’ve just been too lazy (or incurious) to go looking for it.

From the Blog: I believe that is Rotifer himself looking out the window. It sure looks like him, anyway. It’s just a handsome family, all the way ’round.

And when Freddy Mercury died, there was one less Parsi.Mamie Van Doren starred in Girls Town, of which there is a fine fine MST3K.

Curse you for reminding me: still haven’t been to Hearst Castle.About foreign movie titles: in France and Germany the TV show “The Avengers” was called “slice of melon and lemon boots”.

Teresa I found an old newspaper article in the Thalweg family Bible about the very same picture you posted on Frog Blog yesterday. WHAT a coincidence! Best, Rotifer  (Thalweg Family Reunion Report) @Ray C and @grapfhics – I wasn’t in the picture, but I do remember Ganny Boom Boom (I always think of her whenever I smell sulphur)
