Sheesh, you know something? Why can’t the colleges stop pretending? Have them openly pay 18-22 yr olds to play, don’t require them to attend classes, and let them compete on the open market for players. Schools who want to opt out can, universities who want to chase BCS and March Madness can do that too. Everyone’ll be happy except the lawyers charging the NCAA billable hours.
