Coach: Class, today is dodgeball day. Michael: Sadly, I'll have to miss the hostilities. I have a...uh...sprained wrist. Coach: A sprained wrist? And you came to school anyway? Coach: I'm certain that a guy who can endure such suffering can easily handle anything dodgeball combat can dish out. P.J.: What if you were to claim conscientious objector status? Michael: Anything to get the heck out of dodgeball!

One of our PE coaches would play the winner in whatever games we played in high school. He never lost. I think it was his way of humbling the winner’s ego rather than boosting his own.

It was called Fireball where I went to school. I abhored it. Just another activity to be singled out for destruction by the neanderthals masquerading as schoolchildren who attended class with me.
