Agree with yyyguy. āMulti-taskingā is a management cliche like āWork smarter, not harderā. A response I have used: āHow many jobs have you FINISHED this week/month/year?ā (Of course, it helps if you are an old friend of your bossās boss, and have finished many projects.)
1) Women usually can and do āmultitaskā very well, much better than men overall. Ask any good mother. Why, ask any wise child of a good mother. :) (Cf. Proverbs 31.)
2) Even some men āmultitaskā well. Itās how they are wired.
3) All of our brains are computers in a very sophisticated sense and āmultitaskā constantly.
May I ask you to consider whether your put-down of sound management principles reflects your own strengths and weaknesses rather than the alleged lack of soundness of the principles?

anyone who thinks they can āmultitaskā and serve each task to their best ability is deluded. multitasking only works for computers.

I donāt agree with you, yyyguy and fogey.
