They’d like to think they’re filling in the gaps themselves. It’s obviously a mind control conspiracy perpetrated by aliens and Teresa is their contact on this unremarkable rock in an unimportant solar system in a middling galaxy.
… or not.
How to have a good imitation of a comic strip character:
Stick to the same comments section of the comic strip as the character you’re portraying. Commenting on other comic strips as the character you’re imitating is a rookie mistake.
Always have a second account ready when you, not the character you’re imitating, wants to speak about something.
At least be believable in your portrayal of the character you’re imitating. Piss-poor imitations are just sad.
Make sure the character you’re imitating is in a comic strip that stands a chance of being syndicated.
Follow these steps and you can maintain an account based on a fictional character that will bring about laughs, kudos, and even stimulating conversation.

But if that’s Ray, who’s he talking to?
And why isn’t there anvil-based revenge for their dirty minds?

My minds dirtier than your mind, my minds dirtier than yours.

Okay, so you’re on to us, Teresa! But that still doesn’t let you off the hook!

Dirty minds?! With what exactly am I supposed to be “filling in the gaps?”
Robert May Premium Member about 15 years ago
Two guys filling in gaps in the dark, touche’ing. That’s where the dirty mind is pointing. Or am I reading too much into it?

If you think sex is dirty, you’re doing it properly.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

That’s implausible. Ya gotta know where the edges are or you can’t dance on them.
margueritem about 15 years ago
Yes, at the very least Ray’s biceps are 21 inches around.
