I dreamt of being captain Of leading with panache Instead I am lieutenant and A moron holds my badge.

While on board the starship R.U. Sirius I soon found the captain an idiot I failed to replace That big moron in space And as for the crew, well, I pity it.

wait a minute, I hate to be an unltalented critic…. ok, I LOVE being an untalented critic, but isn’t rhyming ‘panache’ with ‘badge’ , a bit of a stretch?

Read and grok little spacie, It’s SUPPOSED to be a little crazy. A little mismatch, a little crummy, That’s what makes it sooooo funny.

Think beyond the transition, Grasshopper.

I don’t blame Winky for being concerned, given what usually happens to him in the last panel.

Love the flashback sequences… sorry, don’t have any limericks =(

And to Nighthawks I must confess I took literary license ‘Panache’ and ‘badge’ may be a stretch- The meter’s what I like best. Half rhyme and matching vowel sounds are two devices I enjoy– In the first lines of my limerick, the latter I employed.
