Our 6-cyl Chrysler minivan gets 28 mpg hwy - which we get on summer vacation. But when climbing mountains, we have to turn off the A/C, or it won’t make it. (And turn it on again for the downhill.) On really steep grades, we have had to turn on the heater to keep the engine temp down. With 18mpg city, all in all, it is a good tradeoff.
