whether he’s already married (in which case, he really shouldn’t be playing these games)
if he’s not married, what are his requirements (although I’ll assume he’s probably US-born, so “smoothing” lots of those)
I love that point of view shot in the 2nd panel, wow! You never see that kind of thing in comics. And the dialogue is written so well you can almost hear their voices. Very cool. Take your time Jim, keep telling the story right!
Gasoline Alley has a history of introducing new characters that’s taken the strip in interesting directions. I think Earl and Gertie as a couple fit the bill.
