Laura: Adam. Don't forget your promise to Katy. Adam: That I'll use q-tips from now on? Laura: No. That you'll help with her school's food drive. Adam: Oh, that... Laura: Adam, people need help. And we have plenty of good food to donate. Adam: Can I donate your eggplant casserole? Laura: (sigh) They need packaged food... Adam: And they've probably been through enough already.

this is a very touchy subject these days, there seem to be a lot more people who are jobless now than in the 50ās 60ās and even the 70ās. but then there are some people who will, even though they are working, go to the local food banks just because they are available

I may be an old bachelor, but I can tell you that eggplant is great. I slice it and either bread it and fry it in hot oil or basically saute it with onions and diced tomatoes with chilies. That said, I have never made an āeggplant casseroleā and probably never will.

Ditto, DoctorToon. My Mom used to cook eggplant. At first, my seven sibs and I hated it but we got used to it
