Hmmm….. does this mean we are going into a new thriller? Or, are we going to dither around for a story to plop out of Jack’s? It would be funny if Jim took over in mid-stream from Locher after Locher had set up the next story - and JB says, “Naw, Locher; that’s a bad story. I have a better one in mind. We’ll start with Chief Liz(z) calling Tracy.”
I am amazed that Lizz called Dick on the wrist thingy … maybe we are getting back to some of the elements that made the strip so popular!!! Next, we’ll have some actual police work!!!
I was just about to unleash a “jackpot” on that middle picture when I noted GROK has already done a neat job of “surgery”. It’s the SAME picture plus a little White-out to remove the snowflakes and a little India Ink to modify the skies. A little artistic “fiddling” there.
Gould and Fletcher would never have committed that short-cut attrocity, (SIXTH identical panel to date). They, would have used a “fresh” angle every time.
Yes Gweedo if you look back over the past 16 years you will see that Locher always draws the hand (from that look UP angle) much better and closer to normal ! From any other perspective you have to “measure” the size of the “disaster”.
Maybe Lizz is calling to find out WHY he hasn’t been coming to work?
Then folks, remember Tracy’s credit card problem.(Sunday). The issue hasn’t been ventilated yet. Could there be a connection?
Those examples of Mr Brozman’s work shows that there will be a much improved Dick Tracy in our future. Even the storyline will develop some meat on it. However, the rogue, “One Eyed Jack”, seems a bit too much like another that has graced this strip in recent months. Hopefully Dick will find another glass door knob to throw out the window!
It looks like, from the examples, that the artwork will definately see much improvement in the weeks to come. I don’t mind some repetition in the weekly storyline if it is a good story, and advancement is made.

With the exception of Bobblehead Gertie, I’m thinking in time the art will be fine. Now if we can get a real writer on the strip…
That is a VERY good hand in panel 3.

In the first panel Gertie it’s small, too small. Except for this mistake, good artwork again on the strip. I hope in a new writer soon.

There’s no snow on the steps. I think those are stars, not snow. That would clear up a lot of inconsistency, wouldn’t it?

Gertie’s words are on the nail, given that B.O. has been entrapped by the casino’s real owners.

Art IS better, If I see that copy/paste of Sunny Dell ONE MORE TIME!!! I could just scream.
Liz to Tracy…CIA Man is here in the office trying to locate a mad scientist. Know anyone that fits the bill? Lt. Teevo is MIA as is Sam.

“The love of money is the root of all evil”…I have a bad feeling about this. Hopefully B.O. doesn’t lose everything…
