Speaking of that, he also looks like he was drawn by the old cartoonists at Mad Magazine there too.

Is he related to NIG MAHOE (a 1936 Bomb maker) ? His face looks like it’s about to “explode” in panel two

Grok, Writing for the “kiddies” has moved beyond the banal “excuse” level. it’s now touted stridently (MPH style?) as a new “shade” of virtue which Brozman has struggled to artistically reflect in panel one

And don’t mind that Big Ace’s snot duo are careless, dumb clucks ! Big Ace has a Tape recorder going under the desk which captures that it was Tracy’s proposal to “gamble” (on how many mil?) and more damaging Tracy’s taped verbal admission of a “sleight-of-hand” cheating trick. While the real “4 of diamonds” remains on the table with finger prints, there are only hostile witnesses in the room for the upcoming gunplay. Now who shot first ? Entrapment and ‘scam fo’ soo’ ! Do I see someone standing in the Court House line behind Bernie Mardof ?

As the man said, they don’t call him Big Ace for nothing … the guy operates like Donald Trump with Tracy, “He doesn’t miss a trick” (or with DL for good measure).

Tracy’s as dead as the rubber duckie ! He and Tess won’t be seen swimming in the Policeman’s Pool in Napereville anytime soon !

Of course, all this DOESN’T HAPPEN ! Locher won’t want it that way. He will artificially carve out success. But It “exposes” how this sequence really looks as dumb and klutzy as Snot and company.

Somehow, I don’t think the “better half” would have given a “thumbs up” on that sequence ! (?)

I can’t wait to see how Dick changed the 4 of diamonds into the Ace of Spades! Pretty clever way to bring down a gambler known as the Ace of Spades…

CHUCKLE ! I guess when you come out of “retirement” you COME out … in all shapes and forms.

I like that style, all “chipsy” and full of smiles, careful like Downwind Jackson not to look the wrong way, and see all those truck holes Charlie is talking about.

Putting some positive sunshine out when thunder clouds are rolling in all around you is always commendable. But you’d think he’s being a little DIsingenuos by implying he did not know “how” it was going to happen. ;-p

Charlie ! All will be known by Saturday ! You might gasp at the result, but then, if you had been raised on magnetism and Space Coupes (?) I guess you should be able to “swallow” the explanation

Perhaps covertly, that’s what they’re been trying for, a comedic strip under the camouflage of the Dick Tracy name. It certainly evokes humor like yours. It even motivates bassmanbob occasionally !

Possibly I’ve been underrating them, that’s what’s been in the “works” all this time (?)

Now they’re fine tuning it, and they seem to be succeeding

You lost , Big Ace ! Do you kill everybody that disturb you ?

I’m still worried about Tess’ credit card . Who bought the iPod ? Who is the cyberbomber ?

The suspense is killing me .

That’s two things you won’t see in this story Rene. Anyone resolving Tess’s Credit Card scam and how Tracy got the Matrix Card Pack.

We could get into the “supposing” business and say “Oh ! Tracy walks around with the pack in his back pocket” … and “It was all a case of mistaken identity and the Credit Card company appologized”. But you won’t see that appear in the strip !

I think you’re going to have to just accept something like that and move on. Locher seemingly “Hugs” his mistakes

Oh ! And don’t expect Mission Impossible to improve things. They’ll be Jackpots of them coming up in in the next story. Locher will make sure of it, “Vaille que vaille” !

Tough to tell. I guess if his nose was shaped like a heart or diamond, he would be red-faced in the first panel, but with a black and white comic, who knows? Guess we will have to wait for Sunday to see if he really turned black.
