So, they’re not trying to kill Warbucks - they need him alive. At least for now. Maybe after he blows up a few more of them, they’ll decide it’s time open up on him.

You’re right, fwdixon, it does pose a question. And the answer so far appears to be ‘yes,’ they seem to want to take him alive. They haven’t fired a shot yet, despite the fact that they outnumber him, they’re armed to the teeth, and Warbucks has been killing them left and right.

We have a stalemate, unless the bad guys had enough foresight to invest in some non-lethal ordnance.

The bad guys want to use non-lethal laws?

“Ordinance” refers to laws, regulations and the like.

“Ordnance” refers to weaponry, ammo, and the like.

They said when they were beating him they don’t want him dead. Shooting to wound is a far cry from shooting to kill.

When will Carmen Sandiego show up to fly him out? And if he’s running out of ammo why doesn’t he pick up the weapons of the guys he just killed?
