Thatā€™s a statement of faith, not of science. If they existed, they would be here.

Ironically, thereā€™s all kinds of forensic evidence for beings of a nature that transcends ours, yet many refuse to believe it.

I believe in UFOs, but they donā€™t believe in me.

Why should ET look so macabre? Heā€™s only a human creation for Hollywood.

Rakkav, maybe they have been here, took one look, and decided never to return.

Despite the travel utilities of the movie 2001 and tv shows like Stargate, I seriously doubt that alien lifeforms can achieve the speed to traverse distances of light years, much less time travel.

Regardless, there is life elsewhere in the universe. There are about 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars estimated to be in the visible universe.

If you want to see how really insignificant we are, in comparison to the rest of the universe, check out this link.

So weā€™ve got this guy who whines and complains and talks about everything wrong with the country, and heā€™s got a moustache and short-cropped hair, and some of his stuff comes off as insane ranting, and heā€™s ex-military, andā€¦

    ADOLF HITLER? OH N0Z!

Itā€™s information content not relative size that determines significance. The informed complexity of every living cell dwarfs the information content of a star. Professors Peter Ward & Donald Brownlee of the University of Washington in Seattle have written a book called ā€˜Rare Earthā€™ explaining why complex life is uncommon in the universe.

He was a US Air Force professional all his life? Even as a baby?

I believe in aliens, but they donā€™t believe in abducting me. We have evidence of aliens on Earth. People just wonā€™t accept it. They demand the aliens pop down in a grand show and say here we are, and we have nothing better to do than travel the universe making alien lives easier and better. If you wonā€™t give a homeless person money, why would aliens come down and give us clean energy, cures to diseases that exist only on Earth, etc?

Havenā€™t read Rare Earth, but even at the complex celluar level, given the likely existence of numerous stars with planets of the right mass in the right location, it is also both probable and likely that ā€œuncommonā€ life exists elsewhere. The fact that it exists here is awesome.

Excuse me but a googolplex is 1 followed by a googol zeroes. 10 to the googol power. Way bigger than 10 to the 10,000 power. 10,000 is a wee puny exponent. Googolplex is even less useful than googol.
