Tom the Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling Woman: I wanted to vote for Hillary, but she lost in the Democratic primaries...WHAT AM I TO DO? John McCain: Hey, LADIES! May I introduce my vice-presidential nominee, Sarah Palin! She's a... Mom! Wife! Grandma! (Surprise!) NRA supporting, creationism and abstinence-only educating, Alaska secessionist, anti-stem cell research, pro-censorship, anti-abortion extremist! John McCain Woman: Wait, what was that last part? John McCain: Don't worry your pretty little head about that, missy. Sarah Palin: Is she askin' QUESTIONS? Lemme at that pinko liberal big-city elitist "community organizer"!

Way to go Sarah! Liberals love to twist what you stand for, but you’ll win in the end.

papawhale:
Well, about half of women are anti-abortion, pro-censorship, anti-stem cell research, sex-education fearing, evolution-doubting women who don't mind guns. (The secessionist charge won't stick.) To be sure, most of them were never planning on voting for Hillary, but they exist.
The best anti-Palin charge here is how ~extreme~ her anti-abortion position is (and it is extreme: no exceptions).

The candidates may be historic, but Americans are just as dumb and divided as ever! The problem, I dare say, isn’t at the top

Not that either of those writers are voting for Palin, but yeah, you’ve got a point. I prefer Obama’s policies to Hillary’s (unlike those writers) as well as Hillary’s to Palin’s (like those writers), but some of the rhetoric is definitely misogynistic and elitist.
