Haven’t seen him around lately. Anyone here seen him? No? That’s what I thought.

I like the way he killed all the innocent unborn children in The Flood.

Does anybody remember Son O’ God Comics from the National Lampoon? He was a scrawny Jewish nebbish who turned into a blond haired, blue eyed superhero whenever he shouted out “Jesus Christ!”

Oh, and don’t feel too sorry for the innocent unborn. Maybe you believe in Original Sin, in which case they weren’t innocent to begin with. Or if Original Sin arrives at the moment of birth rather than conception, then they will never HAVE sinned, so they won’t have to suffer the consequencesof it. At worst, they’ll go to limbo with the Virtuous Pagans, where they will will exist forever at age 33 (was it Thomas Aquinas or Augustine who proved this?). They would be denied the sight and presence of God, but they would be reasonably well-treated for eternity. Never having sinned, they need fear neither Hell nor Purgatory.

I think theologian Karl Rahner disproved the “Virtuous Pagans in Limbo” idea with his “Transsubstantiation is Really Transfinalization” treatise.

Limbo, Hell, numerous virgins… One way to find out!

Well, lots of way to find out, but it all has the same result… now don’t move, you won’t feel a thing…

The so safest path to Heaven is not to LEARN the Law, or ACKNOWLEDGE it, for then you cannot be condemned for breaking it! Cool!

He is always around, all the Avatar expressions “Krishna, Buddha & Christ” said they are always here, (just not on T.V or working from a Church) but actually here is a body helping move humanity along. As far as innocent people killed 1.first you have no idea what the Karma is from the last life and what they did. 2. they come right back, Bam! Dying is just getting to be re-born fresh as a little Baby…as nobody, Nobody… gets off the Wheel of Life! Period. Whether it’s Jesus coming back as a Buddha, or Hitler coming back as Michael Jackson..it keeps on going…life after life after life….and God does have a sense of Humor..Big Time.

I’d love to see God-Man form a super-team with Batman, Wolverine and Chuck Norris. Now that would be a fearsome foursome.

The decision of what is “good” is neither arbitrary and relative, nor dependent upon abstract polarities imposed through “revelation.” We aren’t BORN with the knowledge of the difference between Right and Wrong, but we begin learning it very early, both through conditioning by parents and peers and through observation and reflection. These two may be in contradiction, when what has traditionally been accepted as “good” is subjected to critical analysis and found to be hollow, and this can lead to charges of “moral relativism” or “situational ethics” by dogmatic hardliners. But it’s pretty much true that “Everything I need to know, I learned in kindergarten.” Learn to share. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everybody. Don’t expect to get your own way every time. Try not to make anyone cry. Wait for your turn. These are “good” because they lead to the greatest opportunity for EVERYONE to be happy. Evolution has made us a cooperative species, and the individual has the best chance to thrive when the community thrives.
