"Tom the Dancing Bug" by Ruben Bolling On The Bus with Charley the Australopithecine Carol: I sure do love to take trips. I'm on my way to see my sister and her kids in Racine. Carol: I told my boss I've got a week coming to me and he goes, "It's crazy here now," and I'm like, "Ron, it's ALWAYS crazy here!" So I'm off to visit my sister. Carol: Her oldest, Franky, what a pistol! He says on the phone to me, "Aunt Carol, bring me presents!" HA! Can you imagine? Carol: He's something, that one. I'm telling you, he'll end up a politician, just you watch! Charley: (SIGH) Charley: Okay, okay. Let's see if there are any bugs in here... Carol: HEY! Charley: SHE'S the one who started it!! I didn't even WANT to be sociable! VROOM

And so much for tolerance of other cultures.
Is there some significance to that armband she’s wearing?

NoBrandName, I think the stripes are just sewn onto her track suit; a decorative feature, nothing more. I think I’ve seen some like that.
It’s a good thing Charley’s not a bonobo, or he’d be looking at hard time instead of just a long walk.

On the contrary, Fritz, a bonobo would’ve made her quite happy.
