Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! There are human children, it’s just that they’re sitting in front where we can’t see them. The animal-types all have better eyesight and don’t need to be so close.
Uhm, I believe all present are Human, just different variations thanks to the mutagenic virus. Yes, it seems out cat has remembered the other woman in his life.
I’m really enjoying this comic. Love a good sci-fi, and the human/animal mutants are a fun twist. A good story really does it for me though. Really excited to see where all of this goes….
Let’s hope that Wally doesn’t come to think of his relationship with Holly as just an “exchange of bodily fluids”. But, we must remember that Wally is a guy. They tend to downplay sex as just “physical”, without any deeper meaning.
There is definately unfinished business with Allie. Wally’s last sight of her was while fleeing in shame after a catnip driven face scratching. We saw Allie give him up to Holly and dive into a bottle. Much drama ahead in this triangle.
The shift in locale threw me for a moment, but it’s brilliantly drawn. From the establishing shot to the close up of the puppets that trigger Wally’s memory – just amazing stuff. Aaron, where do we go to vote you Cartoonist of the Year?
I think maybe Wally is seeing it from a perspective of someone who has just been rescued from his demons, and now realizes/remembers that someone he cares about needs rescuing? That still leaves plenty of drama opportunity for Holly to get jealous, or for Allie to misinterpret his intentions. Or maybe I’m giving Wally too much credit. LOL
Aaron, are the wallpapers from your old website available anywhere else? They’re no longer accessible from the link. Are you going to be at Comic Con this weekend? By the time you got me hooked, it was too late for tix, but I may go hang out anyway just for the fun of it.
Maybe Wally will find out that Allie is “stuck in the bottle”, and for friendship’s sake, help her to crawl out. You never know who could be a former member of AA. He might be able to be her sponsor.
Aaron, I really like your depiction of all the children in the first panel…it gives hope for Endtown’s future. And really…mamtile??? Great work today.;-P
Read yesterdays, and then suddenly found myself backtracking to last year because I just had to have more! I think ive found a new favorite – no, actually, I KNOW I’ve found it. : )
Nope, Wally is NOT a typical tomcat. He’s a surface dweller who’s tried to avoid contact with ANYONE. When he sees the alligator in the P&J show, he remembers that the last time he saw Allie, he’d scratched up her face when she was trying to help him. There’s no triangle here – Wally’s just realizing that he hurt someone, and that it may be time to put things right.
I believe that when Wally saw the puppet Alligator in the Punch and Judy Show, that the correlation between the Alligator and the name Allie jogged his memory…..Alli-gator and Allie.

So looking at all the children present, are there no human children in Endtown?

He sort of forgot about her, didn’t he? Too much stuff was happening… Hey, is this an Endtown version of “Punch and Judy” from old England?

Oh, I’m so glad she hasn’t vanished altogether from the strip! She had good character traits. Would hate to just give her up for lost in the bottle.

And now we slide even more into Soap opera. Just remember Wally you and Holly share something special….and I don’t mean an exchange of Bodily fluids.
