No, Mona, nooo! Sometimes, the truth is better left unspoken. Poor Donna! Mona is going to drive her right over the edge if she doesnât back off some! Go with âcute, fuzzy puppiesâ!
Ray C, A. Whitney Brown used to do a rourtine about the dogs he had as a kid:
âWe named the black one âBlackieâ, and the brown one âBrownie.â My family didnât have a lot of imagination when it came to names. Just ask my sister, Pinkie.â
When I was a younger man (and more confused), I contemplated getting a job at the Animal Shelter, so that if the doggies had to be killed, at least theyâd be killed by someone who loved them. It seemed like some form of compassion, at the time.
I also felt that if I could steel myself to doing THAT, Iâd later be able to handle anything. It was some form of Nietzschean, G. Gordon Liddy exercise in Will.
Youth. Go figure.
(For the record, Iâve NEVER watched âOlâ Yellerâ, and NEVER willâŠ)
I watched old yeller for the first time a couple of years ago. i was at my momâs so i was trapped. about half way through the movie she looks over and says âare you crying already! nothings happened yet.â i said yeah but it will! disney really traumatized my me from Bambi to Lion King.

Forget it Mona. Just give her some NyQuil and wake her up when the test results are in. It will be less painful for all involved.
