Smart kid or smart little bird. Even I don’t know what the braces are.

Now it’s “Pickup & Delivery”! Wonder what it will say tomorrow?Good to see that Boog has the smarts to find his way down the crane.

As someone once told me, little children each have ***two*** guardian angels – working overtime, no less!

But he says he “slipped on the wet braces.” Maybe he is a ghost just come back long enough to detail his demise
 that would be spooky.

The sign on R and J’s wagon is evidently like the Yellow Kid’s nightshirt. It expresses the thoughts of R and J just as Yellow Kid’s nightshirt expressed his words.

I think the entire plot line is dumb. This kid climbs into a car and supposedly gets crushed and his guardians don’t talk to the crane operator, or call the police, or look in the crushed car. No..they just go home. Really dumb!

the braces and the subsequent excerpts he is audio-ing are part of a notebook/draft of an experience identified online as the ‘CASE OF THE EXPLODING FINGERPAINTS’ — IT WAS ACTUALLY A PSYCHOLOGICAL EXPERIMENT IN HOW EASY IT IS TO PLANT FALSE MEMORIES. MORE ON THAT LATER.

What do you expect? They’re old, they still ride around town in a dated vehicle with a sign on the back that changes (like that on the side boat in the classic comic strip Pogo) trying to drum up whatever business they do.

I still don’t understand what a bird had to do with it. Boog didn’t learn to fly. A bird might sit on a crane but then fly off.

They may decide to make this adventure “our little secret”. Then if Boog starts telling about it in the future, they’ll think he made it up.
