Good Morning, Vagabonds. Thanks, Lonewolf.Only wish it was bigger, got red eye pupils and horns.I’ll change it soon. It was taken for a CD insert by a band I was friends with. One of four…. PhotoShopped of course.
Morning everybody. I’m back from conference. It was a better conference thatn usual. Instead of having to listen to hours and hours of boring reports, we had celebration and worship with an outstanding key-note speaker. And I notice you got your avatars back while I was gone. Congratulations.Chapter 9 of “Little Orphan Annie and Sandy” is at Today’s Annie Comic
You’re most welcome, Slim. I have been away for a few days due to a sinus infection. Today is the first day I have felt good enough to sit at the laptop for more than a few minutes. Hopefully this progress continues for me. :^)
And, what about “Sky King”? Anyone watch that as a kid? Can’t find that on DVD.We bought “Sgt Preston of the Yukon”……..not exactly as I remembered it…………kind of fun to see the early TV work.
Didn’t have TV when I was a kid. Had to go out and play, still do though I can’t really play anymore. Never saw a TV show that could beat a willow-pole (used a lot of them), a piece of fishing line and an Eagle Claw hook!! And I will swear on a stack of Bibles, that I caught my fist trout on a willow pole. with a piece pf string amd a bent pin when I was about nine or ten years old. No playing them on a bent pin, I pulled them straight out when they bit, and grabbed them before they could flop back into the water. I could go back to that first stream today but, I’m sure I’d find houses everywhere instead of woods and meadows and a little creek. Progress?
I like the new set-up here. I can now get all but eight, ten on Sunday, of my daily strips here. Seems to be working a bit smoother, too.Oh…… Who remembers Beany abd Cecil?
@Lonewolf:I was at my Mom’s for a while in San Bernardino, CA. Mid-20s at the time. Have only watched TV sporadically. Never really got into any particular show, but there were those that I liked watching over the years.I think my favorite was… Well, big clue:“Have gun will travel said the card of a man.A knight without armor in a savage land”.Easy, right?Nobody will read this comment. :-(

Yes, dkram, it is Walter Brennan. I used it as a temporary avatar about a year ago and decided to keep it as my regular avatar.
