That is one of the things I miss about having a dog – the living vacuum cleaner aspect! Cats are much more finicky about “floor” food.

Yeah, I once almost cleaned up an egg that slipped out of my hand and splatted on the floor. Then I remembered my handy dandy picker upper …“Here, Bear! Try this!” Wow, in a jiffy, the floor was Spic and Span. But then he kept bobbing his head, as if to ask me to drop another. I don’t think there is an OFF switch.
