Ah, my latest tip of the hat to the New Golden Rule, and no one’s commented yet. You know the New Golden Rule if you’ve watched ‘COPS’ or any show like it. The cops drag some guy off the body of his newly deceased wife, his chainsaw still running, the echoes of “I’ma kill you” still ringing in the neighborhood. The killer is tossed into the squad car, shouting “Why y’all doing this? I ain’t did nothin’!” The New Golden Rule is “Deny Everything.” We learned it from our congressmen.

I still do that, make a mess I mean.As soon as my wife sees me headed to the kitchen, she cringes.She went out of town for 2 days, to visit her sister. when she got back home it looked like a tornado, ripped the place apart.

My father falls into the same category. My mother makes a bunch of meals, puts them into tupperware, and goes on weekend trips occasionally. When she returns, there are McDonald’s bags all over the kitchen. Left to himself, my father would be hard pressed to manage the home, I think.

Toby should of tell the truth when he had the chance.

People should tell the truth. Comedians and cartoon characters should point out the foibles of our times and cultures. I think. I could be wrong.

good thing most teenage boys can run faster than their mom’s – its the only thing that keeps some of them alive!!

All of us who used to be little boys learned that Mom could be outrun. Sort of a rite of passage, wa’n’it?
