I used to watch Houston wrestling growing up in the early ’60s and there was one woman who had a front row seat every week. Of course you cannot compare boxing and wrestling. Boxing is sport and wrestling is something more like performance art with large, muscular, semi-naked men.
I boxed when in the service. Decided two things I did not enjoy about it…did not like getting hit and did not like hitting others. I experienced a LOT of violence in my youth and decided that no human should ever touch another, except in a LOVING way. Much prefer a kiss to a punch in the face. Now you “real men” may go ahead and call me a pussy.
