Yes, you already had the “disease” from the day you were conveived. For some it is a gradual and not all that unpleasant a progression. We grieve for those who escape this disease by means of other causes – many at all too early an age.
From another vantage point – aren’t most people hoping to die of old age?
1 Corinthians 15:26 “As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.” Regardless, of what we know, Death is never our friend. In the Bible there are nine recorded resurrections. On the first day of his being raised, the Bible reveals, Jesus appeared on five different occasions to some of his disciples. (Matt. 28:1-15; John 20:11-25; Luke 24:13-43) Then, during the days that followed, he showed himself to them several more times, once to upward of 500 disciples! (John 20:26-29; 21:1-19; 1 Cor. 15:3-7. So we can understand then when Acts 17:31 says ‘Jesus is the guarantee of the resurrection to man.’At John 11:11 Jesus likens death to sleep. There are clinical deaths and a biological deaths, both of which one can recover (but not the latter, right now). Scientists, say “We only use one-one hundredth of 1% percent of our total brain capacity within a seventy to eighty year lifespan.” Clearly, we were meant to live longer than we do now. It is estimated that at least 20 billion people of every one who has ever lived and died. In the near future, of those 20 billion who make up the resurrection to life on earth- each person can have one acre of land to live on, so there will be space for everyone.Peace and Good Health

Can’t take any chances.
Staying away from natural causes as well. Too many dying of those, too.

It is, though, grandpa. Everybody catches it if they live long enough. You should have told Nelson it’s age-specific.

If I’d have believed as Nelson does, I would have kept my distance.

It’s birthdays that do it. Earl better tell Nelson not to have any more birthdays so he won’t get old.

We have the vast majority of your kind in U.S. Politics and court systems. That’s exactly why our society and this nation is so screwed up.
