The Buckets by Greg Cravens for June 26, 2011
Transcript:
This patient is green! His tummy is sick! This patient has yellow fever. This one has Scarlet fever. This patient is blue! He must have a cold! We'll have you folks fixed up in no time! I'm a doctor. Real sick people aren't color-coded by illness. I'm an artist. How? All your models are out sick.

Itâs a shame that they arenât color coded. That would make the russian roulette bar scene a little safer.

Yes, anything thatâs colored like a childâs crayon drawing was done by me. Dead giveaway.

âOh, I do know of your paintings- God gives you one face and you make yourselves anotherâŠâ
I guess that applies to Ophilia and women with makeup generally, but WS didnât know weâd invent spray-on tanning. Or crayoning over a sickly complexion.

âBad News Everyoneâ (to quote Professor Farnsworth) The Insurance Industry got wind of this cartoon and now weâre all required by law to be color-coded when ill. The Government (aka The Ungoverned, or as the Insurance Industry refers to it âIgorâ) has has been told to say that this will get us out of our economic downturn, so itâs okay.

ââŠGod hath given you one face and you make yourselves anotherâŠâ
That is my favorite line of ALL TIME. I gave a little squee when I saw it as it so aptly fits everywhere. Nice to see an Eddie twist added to its legacy.
