    Possible continuation:

    Calvin: What are bats then, if you’re so smart? Susie: Mammals! Calvin: They are not! Bats have wings, and mammals don’t, so how can bats be mammals? Susie: If you did some actual research, you’d know bats are the only mammals who can fly.
