Morning Bill and Arye. It’s only 22:20 here in CA. (My husband has all of our clocks set to 24-hour-time.) Good morning/evening to the rest of the vagabonds.

Good morning, Slim, Arye, and All Who Are to Come…….Well, we made it to Logan, Utah…..with only a torrential thunderstorm between Idaho Falls and Pocatello. Whew!!!! Hydroplaning and all……fortunately, everyone slowed down to make it a safe passage.

Tomorrow night is in south Las Vegas…….it’s about another 8 or 9 hour day depending on the weather. Everything up here is sooooooooooooo green because of all the rain. LOVE it!!!

Jan, not sure what to tell you at this time. We’ll be leaving LV Thursday morning around 9 or 10 or so………so we might make it before you leave the office. Has your cell phone changed since last time? I’ll call you by noon to let you know where we are. We have to be in San Diego sometime around 3 to see the kids’ new house, and pick up dinner, and then pick up our Raleigh kids from the airport at 7:30. I’d love to see you and get a big hug!

    Morning Vagabonds.

I expect to be living in front of the fan again today. 80’s yesterday.

I’ll tellyou more of the Haden House, the curse is true, the Haden family died off in three generations.

The house has had it’s history (I beleave I was wrong about the age of the house). Some felt that the underground rail road stoped there, we now know that is not true.

The history may be more sinister.

    Later

    \\//_

Thanks for your tips, David. I logged off before you came on so I didn’t read it until now when you pointed it out. I don’t drive, so I’ll be taking buses and trains.I’m hoping my knowledge of Turkish will help and since German is related to English, a few cognate words may help. Since I plan to go no more than 3 days,, I plan to take only carry-ons, so there will be no sharps or liquids in my bag. I’m hoping that this will free me for waiting for my luggage at the airport.

My great grandmother’s maiden name was Ringelheim and everyone named “Ringelheim” is related to me. The town of Ringelheim is a suburb of Salzgitter. I wanna see what connetion, if any, that town may have to my family (I’m the “official” Ringelheim genealogist) and I wanna have a photo of me taken in front of the Ringelheim sign,
