Janis: Honestly! We give you fresh water every day, but you drink from a puddle of rain water?
Arlo: Fluoridation is one of those hot-button topics I avoid!
Purity Of Essense. General Jack D. Ripper is obsessed by it in the movie Dr. Strangelove. He’s convinced that fluoridation is a communist plot to pollute our precious bodily fluids, and drinks only rainwater. Oh, and grain alcohol.
General Jack D. Ripper: "Mandrake, do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk… ice cream. Ice cream, Mandrake, children’s ice cream. … You know when fluoridation first began? Nineteen hundred and forty-six. 1946, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy, huh? It’s incredibly obvious, isn’t it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That’s the way your hard-core Commie works. … I, uh… I… I… first became aware of it, Mandrake, during the physical act of love. … Yes, a uh, a profound sense of fatigue… a feeling of emptiness followed. Luckily I… I was able to interpret these feelings correctly. Loss of essence. … I can assure you it has not recurred, Mandrake. Women uh… women sense my power and they seek the life essence. I, uh… I do not avoid women, Mandrake. … But I… I do deny them my essence.”
There was a downtown hotel in Dallas that made a big selling point that they had their own water well and guests were safe from floridated water. The only problem was that their water had the exactly same amount of floride naturally (ground water) that Dallas added to their lake water. The corporate media censored that detail even though many knew anyway.
My kids’ cats are the same way sometimes. True, they’ll drink from their dish, but if they’re out & about the yard, they’ll take water from a puddle or the kiddie pool (non-chlorinated, of course) just as quick!

There are places, such as in Arizona, where the water is naturally fluoridated.

There’s also the chlorine.
