Saw some good ones on TV last night. First, Tombstone. Then a couple of classics – The Thing (1951) and Land of the Pharaohs (1955). Great fun!

    Good morning boy & girls.

We lost our heat for a while, got rain in sted.

A story: Emily walked the road to the old Gold Brook covered bridge under the night sky, to meet her boy friend and run away to be married. She paced around in and out of the bridge for hours. In gray light of dawn she new he was not coming, so distraught was she that she took her own life. (This is where the details of the story are unclear, some say she hung her self, and others say she jumped onto the rocks below the bridge)The bridge is said to be haunted by her and may be her boy friend to, who is said to have killed himself as well.Emily’s bridge is in Stowe Vermont. (You really have to look for it) spaning the Gold Brook.

Hope you like my unusual of Vermont. You know some strange storys from near your home tell us, please.

    I’m Gone.

    Hello VagaBonds!

LOVE these stories!!!!! I’ll have to think about the local legends around here. We have a lot of ghost towns and mining camps, and we went to the Virginia City, Nevada City ghost towns, and the old hotel has a TWO story out house! We assume it is for when the snow is too deep to use the lower level.
