Had a wonderful day in the greenhouse, and then getting used to my walks up and down our hill again. It sure is hard getting used to my routine after being off for 2 weeks!!!! (huff, puff)
We couldn’t start our campfire tonight because the winds were over 5 mph…..too much risk for wildfires!
Instead, we watched a cute old movie with Peter O’Toole and Audrey Hepburn……………“How to Steal a Million”…….very sweet.
Good Morning, MontanaLady.Got a story thatr may sound weird but, it happened to me. one of two, though the second I won’t swear to. T.he first one was real
I was visiting some friends in Rialto, CA (right neaxt to San Bernardino,CA) Husband and wife with tow kids past the toddler age, They had all been in bed about two houirs when it happened.I was sitting in aa easy chair reading what I think was a Robert A. Heinlein, one of my favorites. The house was absolutely silent. Then I heard footsteps comeing down the hall from the rear of the house. I could only see a little ways up the hall as I waited to see who it was. The steps went into the kitchen but; despite the lamp I was reading by, I couldn’d see anybody in the kitchen because it was too dark. Then the steps came out of the kitchen and down the hall into the front room where I sat. Thjere was nobody there. Nothing.. I sat there, curious, but not scared. If anything, I felt a sort of peace. After a minute or so the steps turned and went back down the hall and were gone. When I mentioned it the next morning they reacted calmly, saying it was their protector, and if he hadn’t felt i was okay,he would have roused everybody!Anyway, I went back to my book for a while, then fell asleep in the chair. It was only one of the unusual things thatn have happened to me over the years, some of which were unexplainable.None of them frightening. Some of them….I don’t know how they happened? They just did? It’s been one "ell of a ride getting here over the years, and I’m almost done with yet another one. :-)))
Slim, I loved your story. As I said in the Annie 2002 forum, I don’t believe in ghosts. But this kind of thing does interest me and I think the scientific world should acknowledge it and research it.
Morning, Village. Serious computer problems this morning. My hard disk crashed and I’m using the old dinosaur in the other room. Can someone please give me the formula for posting links? I had that information on the hard disk and now it’s gone. Thank you. Meanwhile, here’s the best I can do with today’s Annie link.http://www.gocomics.com/annie/2002/07/27
Good Morning again, you guys and gals.@davidf42…..I have never believed in ghosts or spirits or in supernatural phenomena. I have, though, gone from non-believer to skeptic.Yet I experienced the inexplicable?

A good day to all.
As I said a little while ago in the Annie forum, I haven’t experienced any thing that I haven’t been able to explain, even a UFO.
Still there are things that make me wonder, guess I’ll find out on the last day.
Well later.
