For the young’n’s, Disneyland used to sell books of tickets. A & B tickets were kiddie rides. E tickets were the “wild rides.” When you ran out of E tickets you’d have to go buy another book. This resulted in extra employment for people to pick up the litter of half used books with just kiddie tickets left.
In the 70s I used to go to Disneyland every week just for the disco (it was cheaper than most others). You had to buy a book of tickets to get in. When I finished college and moved away from LA I gave away an entire drawer full of them.

I"m old and I remember going to Disneyland and not always getting the E tickets (they were pricey if you were a family of four kids).
