My daughter did the same thing to me a few months ago. She wanted me to have a cell phone for when I’m on the road going to the doctor. That’s the only time that I’m on the road. She worries about me because I’m 75, not in the best of health and have to travel a long way to the VA hospital.
Finally, one day, she shows up and hands me one and tells me that I’m on her family plan and she will pay the monthly fee. I TRY to remember to take it with me and I TRY to make sure that it’s charged. Other than that, it sits. I’ve never even made a call on it!
