Every school term for the kid start with “How I spent my holiday”. Maybe that was the inspiration for “I know what you did last summer”.

My 8th grade social studies teacher used the exact same lesson plan for at least 20 years, probably more. He could never figure out why students with older siblings did so well on his tests.
