If parents want their kids to ask politely, they need to do the same with each other! My wife always asks me to do things, and I do the same with her. It’s astonishing how quickly familiarity can breed contempt if we’re not careful.

I have the opposite problem. I have trouble asking my husband to do anything, but I do a great job with boss/manager/editor positions.
Should’ve stopped at panel #3, that’s where the punchline is.
I try to be polite to everyone—including Hubby.
