He has to be careful what he says.One slip of saying 57 states instead of 47 has been used 50,000 times on this forum, whereas Palin and Bachman come up with crazy stuff every day and Republicans think it is OK.

People use verbal fillers like, âuhâ when they are thinking while speaking. Obviously, Palin & Bachmann donât have that problem!

When my hubby taught classes how to communicate publicly, he told them that âuhâ and âerâ were like weeds in a garden. It helped them to cut them down or out.

So if youâre using uh and er while speaking, and it means youâre thinking while you speak, then it stands to reason youâve done little or no thinking before you speak, and you have to make stuff up on the fly, which then means you havenât taken the time to think out all of the ramifications of what youâre thinking about as you speak.
