The Native Americans (formerly known as Indians) never ate turkey? Ever? I suppose they’d rather starve–which they often did, though not out of respect for the turkey, I’m sure.
Turkey…gentle??? When I was a kid they’d chase me all over the farm. They were mean as satan…and big. They can do some serious harm to a child. Scared me half to death. (only half, cause I’m still here more than 60 years later.)
