    You know, I used to love baseball when I was a kid. Rabid Yankee fans these days? Please. You lightweights don’t know what “rabid” means. I could rattle off the entire Yankees roster in under 30 seconds. I was the only third grader in my class who knew where Columbus was, because that’s where the Yankee AAA team was. I cried for two days when Thurman Munson died.

    And then they canceled the World Series in 1994.

    So note to the NFL and the players: I gave up baseball. I can give up football.

    I quit watching baseball, too. Although I was never a big fan.I mostly watch the football highlight shows, the best being Chris Berman with his made up nicknames and commentary, “Bumbling, stumbling….”
