Wow! Q-bert was one of my favorite games… back in the day. I loved how if I messed up and Q-bert fell off his stack of cubes… there would be a little thump a the bottom of the game.
Q-Bert couldn’t possibly have been from 1982. My memory of Q-Bert feels more recent than that. If Q-Bert is from 1982, then that would imply that I am older than I think I am, which is not a reality I’m prepared to accept. Therefore, Q-Bert must have been more prevalent in the 90’s.
Seems like only yesterday to me, but yes, 1982 it was. It was the only arcade game I was any good at at all. I loved Q-Bert and all his little sound effects he made when he fell off. That little thump was classic.

Q-bert loves stairs not flat surfaces.
