Her Majesty’s a pretty nice girl,
but she doesn’t have a lot to say
Her Majesty’s a pretty nice girl
but she changes from day to day
I want to tell her that I love her a lot
But I gotta get a bellyful of wine
Her Majesty’s a pretty nice girl
Someday I’m going to make her mine, oh yeh,
someday I’m going to make her mine
Pab: saw an off Broadway producton of Rain, a combination Beatles cover band and history lesson. This weeks ‘toons brought the same smile to my face. Thanks for this week
the song is actually referring to her several times great granddaughter, but it would certainly apply in this context. those of us who are regular readers certainly seem to “love her a lot” - with or without that “belly full of wine.”

I’m thinking Her Maj might object more to being only a “pretty nice girl” - though perhaps being loved a lot cancels that out.
Brilliant one today, Pab!

Could’ve been worse, Your Majesty. The game could’ve asked why you and it don’t do it in the road?
